As an Audit Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining service quality, compliance, and customer trust. This position involves route-based customer visits, on-site bin audits, and secure handling of confidential materials. In addition, you’ll operate a Class C hard drive destruction truck, providing secure, on-site data destruction in full compliance with NAID AAA Certification standards.

This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working directly with customers.

What You’ll Do

Bin Audits & Maintenance

  • Conduct on-site audits to ensure collection bins are clean, properly labeled, and placed according to company policy
  • Perform internal bin audits both physically and within company tracking systems
  • Document bin conditions, volumes, and audit findings accurately

Route Operations

  • Follow a pre-determined daily route for customer site visits and service delivery
  • Deliver new bins, retrieve or exchange bins as needed
  • Maintain route efficiency while providing reliable, high-quality service

Customer Communication

  • Communicate with customers via email, phone, or in person to confirm appointments, service needs, or audit results
  • Document customer interactions and service notes in company systems
  • Identify opportunities for branded material placement or follow-up reporting

Vehicle & Equipment Operation

  • Safely operate a Class C hard drive destruction truck
  • Perform secure on-site data destruction in compliance with NAID standards
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized equipment

Documentation & Compliance

  • Submit accurate route logs, bin inventories, and audit reports
  • Ensure documentation meets company, regulatory, and NAID record-keeping requirements

Culture, Safety & Compliance

  • Uphold company values, professionalism, and commitment to data security and sustainability
  • Follow all safety protocols, operational policies, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • 1+ year of experience in route-based work, logistics, or facility services (preferred)
  • Comfort using mobile devices, CRM systems, and basic computer software (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in field and warehouse environments
  • NAID experience is a plus — training provided

Work Environment

  • Primarily field-based with daily travel to customer sites
  • Physical work including lifting, loading, and maneuvering bins
  • Occasional administrative and system work at the company facility
