Job Title: B2B Sales Executive – Shredding On Site
Location: Remote home office based in Southern Maine or Southern New Hampshire (regional travel across New England required)

This is a chance to take ownership of a sales territory in Southern Maine and Southern New Hampshire while playing a key role in our growth across New England. You’ll focus on outbound prospecting, cold calling, and networking to bring in new business customers. Your success will come from closing both recurring service contracts and new accounts, helping Shredding On Site expand its regional presence. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute a targeted outbound sales strategy to grow our B2B customer base in Southern Maine and New Hampshire.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract signing.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently achieving defined growth goals.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, door-to-door visits, networking events, and referrals.
- Schedule and attend in-person meetings across the territory to build relationships and close deals.
- Take market share from competitors through strong positioning and relationship building.
- Collaborate with inside sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience.
- Represent Shredding On Site at industry events and regional conferences.
- Travel once per month to Bangor, ME for sales meetings and team building.
- Accurately record sales activity and customer information in the CRM system.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of proven success in B2B sales, business development, or a related field (document management, shredding, waste/recycling, or related industries a plus).
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, and closing new business.
- Strong hunter mentality with a competitive drive to win accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage a large territory and multiple opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel throughout Southern Maine, New Hampshire, and occasionally greater New England (valid driver’s license required).
- Comfortable working out of a remote home office when not in the field.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling service-based or route-based recurring contracts.
- Established network in Southern Maine or New Hampshire business communities.
- Familiarity with secure information management or compliance-driven industries.
